McIntyre Tate is pleased to announce that Stephen Prignano has joined the
firm as a partner. Stephen practices in the area of complex commnd matrimonial
law, and is licensed in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. He
has over 28 years of trial and appellate experience in a wide variety
of matters in state and federal courts across the country. Stephen is
a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, is listed in
the Commercial Litigation section of The Best Lawyers in America and has
been named a New England Super Lawyer and a Rhode Island Super Lawyer
by Law & Politics magazine since 2007. Prior to joining McIntyre Tate,
Stephen was a partner at Edwards Wildman Palmer, LLP, now Lock Lorde,
LLP, where he litigated matrimonial cases in Rhode Island, Connecticut
and Massachusetts courts. Stephen has also litigated civil cases in California,
Kansas, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode
Island, Nevada, Washington state and Oklahoma. His civil litigation experience
includes insurance coverage issues, media liability, products liability
and professional liability defense. Stephen serves on the Board of Directors
of the Roger Williams University School of Law, the Advisory Board of
the Pro Bono Collaborative and is a trustee of the Community Boating Center
in Providence. Stephen is also active in pro bono work and is the recipient
of the Pro Bono Publico Award and Continuing Service Award from the Rhode
Island Bar Association, as well as an Award of Merit from the National
Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
